Super 30 is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language biographical drama film directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala on a budget of ₹60 crore (US$8.4 million), narrating the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program of the same name.[5] Co-distributed by Reliance Entertainment, the film stars Hrithik Roshan as Anand, with Mrunal Thakur, Virendra Saxena, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Srivastava, Nandish Singh, Aayush Kumar Shukla and Amit Sadh in supporting roles.[6]
Super 30 was Phantom Film's last production.[7][8] Principal photography began in February 2018 and the film was extensively shot in Ramnagar Fort and Sambhar Lake Town which was shown as Kota, Rajasthan.[9] Super 30 was theatrically released in India on 12 July 2019 and received positive to mixed reviews, but with some praise for the storyline and Roshan's performance.[10][4] With worldwide earnings of ₹208.93 crore (US$29 million), the film emerged as one of the highest-grossing Indian films. Based on domestic net collection, the film stands among top 40 in the list of Hindi films with highest India net collection with a lifetime net gross of ₹146.95 crore (US$21 million) in India.
