Veronica (Spanish: Verónica) is a 2017 Spanish supernatural horror drama film directed by Paco Plaza.[1] It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival.[3] It is loosely based on true events from the 1991 Vallecas case where Estefanía Gutiérrez Lázaro died mysteriously after she used a ouija board.[4]
